Audio Descriptions

In collaboration with exhibiting artists, the curators approached audio description as both a creative practice and a community building exercise. Artists were invited to audio describe their own work, and these aural vignettes - departures from the sometimes dry offerings that can accompany artworks - formed a vivid collection of voices and expressive styles. These recordings were made available via Soundcloud for exhibition visitors to explore on their own personal devices.
